A very nice example of a 19th century pine linen and blanket chest - in very good condition for its age. It has a dome shaped top with a brass knob to the lid and the attractive original strap hinges. The carrying handles are also the original and in good working order.
Inside the chest, you will find the original candle box - typical of this period.

It is seen here in the bare wood, having recently been stripped.

Height 23", width 41", depth 23"
