A single door antique pine larder/food cupboard dating from the 1920's. From the Czech Republic. With some attractive carving above the door, and a single metal vent in the centre of the door panel.

The door opening from left to right, there is a half depth shelf inside at the top, a full depth shelf below and a wooden hanging rail underneath.

With an internal depth of just 13", this would only be suitable to use as a children's wardrobe. The hanging rail can obviously be removed if required, and more shelves fitted. Please ask for more details.

Item Number 1565 - Photo 1
£827 GBP
€915 EUR      $1,060 USD
An antique pine Secretaire that dates from the early 1900. It is in very nice condition, and has been stripped to the bare wood ready for wax polishing.

A very interesting piece of furniture with many storage compartments. The top drawer is full width with white porcelain knobs and the original pretty elaborate key escutcheon.
Below the top drawer is a unusually panelled drop leaf writing slope with original brass key escutcheon. Once opened you will find lots of little "secret" drawers and in the centre is a metal safe with a working lock and key.
There is also a slide out leather writing tray - very useful if you would prefer not to work / write on a wood surface. The wood inside the Secretaire is a beautiful rich antique Mahogany.

There are a further three full width drawers with white porcelain knobs and original brass key escutcheons.

This will look fantastic once wax polished, or we can give you a quote for painting it, if you would prefer.
It would fit well in an office or even in a large grand hallway. A very useful storage piece to tidy away all those unsightly things!

Height 69", width 45.5", depth 24"
Item Number 1506 - Photo 1
£427 GBP
€472 EUR      $547 USD
A pine triple mirror vanity stand dating from 1930 in lovely condition. The central mirror is full length and the two outside mirrors are shorter in length but can move, so giving you angled views of yourself. They release from their catches when pulled inwards, and pop back in to the catch when pushed flush with the centre mirror.

Both cupboards have mirrored tops which work very well with this piece of furniture. The drawers and doors still have the original white porcelain knobs . Both cupboards have a single shelf inside.

Recently stripped to the bare wood, this is now ready for waxing or painting. It would look fantastic in a dressing room or bedroom, but would also work well in a hall or landing.

Height 70", width 53", depth 13"
Item Number 1449 - Photo 1
£797 GBP
€882 EUR      $1,021 USD
A very attractive antique pine child's double wardrobe, dating from 1880, in very good condition for its age. The beautiful panelled doors are mounted on the original hinges. Inside, there is a central vertical partition with shelving and a drawer on one side, and a clothes hanging space on the other side. The internal depth is 16" meaning it is suitable for small hangers . A new brass hanging rail will be fitted for you.

A very useful child's wardrobe with plenty of space for folded clothes and plenty of space on the other side for hanging clothes. The two drawers at the bottom could store socks etc... or even toys! An all round great storage piece.

We could fit more shelves or change the inside configuration as required, so it could be used as a storage cupboard instead of a wardrobe if you wish.

A great feature to this 19th century wardrobe is that it totally dismantles for delivery and access to those difficult stairways/doorways.

Stripped to the bare wood, ready for wax polishing or painting.
