A substantial and stunning piece of 18th century mahogany furniture, this table has wonderful carvings on the support column and legs, making it a very unusual and attractive table.
The top has been possibly re-polished at some time in the tables history.
The table sits well on its catch, as can be seen this is the original banjo catch, the spring in the catch does not work, all this means is that a manual pull is required to lock the table, which is not difficult and better to leave the original in place.

The table top measures just over 36" across and stands 27.5" high
