A tall, and larger than average, Georgian mule chest, in very good condition for its age. Original penny end strap hinges to the lid, and original small wooden knobs to the drawers.

A solid, sturdy, well made English mule chest that is strong enough to be sat on, so would make a nice window seat or shoe bench.

There are two bottom drawers and it is stood on attractive bracket feet.

Wax polished to a high standard, ready for collection or delivery.

A good example of a pine chest dating from the turn of the century. It has a dome shape lift up lid which opens to plenty of storage space inside, for blankets and linen. Nowadays these chest's make excellent shoe stores or toy boxes.

The original carrying handles are in good order as is the candle box inside the chest - typical feature of this time.

This chest is stood on raised bracket feet.

Recently stripped to the bare wood, it is now ready for waxing or painting.

A very solid, and in excellent condition for its age, flat top blanket chest. Dating from the 1800's, currently in the bare wood having recently been stripped of its original paint.

The original lock and key are in good working order, as are the side carrying handles and the strap hinges to the lid. Inside the chest you will find the original candle box, typical of chest's of this time.

The flat top makes this a good alternative to a coffee table, or shoe storage box bench, or even as a window seat.

A very old pine marriage linen chest with the original paintwork, including the initials of the newly weds and the date of the marriage - c.1811

In lovely condition for its age, with lots of character and charm.

A large antique pine storage cupboard (or fire cupboard) dating from around c.1900. Consisting of 3 cupboards stacked upon each other, each with a carrying handle on either end, ready to take out in a hurry if a fire were to start!! These lovely cupboards were originally kept in the hallway, close to an exit, storing one's precious valuables.

A solid large piece of 17th Century English Furniture, decorated with chevrons and diamond panels, the condition is superb.
All original panels and floor, the hinges are old but a later replacement, the candle box is present but no lid.
The three panel top as the photograph shows two of the panels have split but are not loose, or falling out, this is all part of a piece of furniture which dates back to circa 1670 and shows it is original, and has not been restored.
The patina is wonderful and has a lovely shine, this coffer has only been cleaned and waxed by us, it also has a working lock.
The coffer is 4 ft 2" long, stands 2 ft 5" high and 22" width of the lid.
Heavy and solid, a very good piece.
